Rwanda Museum

Kigali, RW

The Kigali Convention Complex has integrated a national museum to come to terms with the country's recent history. An exhibition space of 1,340 m2 creates a multimedia representation of the culture, natural diversity and history of Rwanda from its creation myths to the period of colonization, independence, up to the genocide of 1994, also providing a look to the future.

The various paths one can take offer each individual access to the content they would like to observe. The installations in the form of originals, photos, documentaries, animations and interactive applications have a strong relationship to the architecture. The high point of the exhibition is the cupola of the "Rwanda Panorama".
