Cultural Project Marstall (Royal Stables)

Munich, DE

The former stables of Leo von Klenze are an interface between Munich's key theaters and concert halls. With the suggested "program boulevard" and the redesign of the theater square, the design further elaborates the integration of the Royal Stables with the cultural life of the city.

The concept of the two mobile stage modules turns the structure into a multi-functional, variable venue which can act as concert hall, theater, cinema, congress center or representative location.

The modules enable the versatile adjustment of room size and presentation. With the new forecourt, they create an urban meeting place as an interface between art, business and culture.
